Taraleigh Casteen

Taraleigh has been involved with the performing arts for 30 years, touring professionally as a vocalist, and has shared the mega stage with many top national artists. She enjoys being involved with local theaters and has extensive experience as an actor, stage manager, sound tech, vocal director, music director, producer, and director. When not in the theater, she is professional vocalist, band leader, and also a private voice coach at her business “The Singing Shack”, also in Smithfield. Some of her students have been on The Voice, America’s Got Talent, gained entry into Gov. School for the Arts, and received national recording contracts! Teaching is her greatest love and it is her great honor to share her knowledge with her students!

Nathan Jacques

Nathan Jacques is a local actor, director, and writer. He has been involved with almost thirty community and professional productions in the past five years and has great hopes for the future of the arts. When not attending Old Dominion University, where he pursues his Bachelor of Science degree in Communications, he works on the marketing team and stage crew at the Virginia Opera Association. He has also been recognized by AltDaily.com and BroadwayWorld.com by way of six award nominations for his roles in local productions, two of which he won. Nathan is a strong advocate for the arts and believes that they are the lifeblood of humanity. He is excited to share this passion with the youth of today, for they are future of the arts!

Coral Mapp

Coral is a graduate of the Visual and Performing Arts Academy for Theatre and Dance. She has been active in the Hampton Roads theatre community since 2014 and has performed in many shows like Hairspray, It's A Wonderful Life, Spamalot, Grease, and The Addams Family. Her choreography credits include First Date, A Little Night Music, and Legally Blonde, for which she won an Alt Daily Award for Best Choreography!

Robyn Ness

Robyn has been involved in live theatre for over 25 years, as a Director, Producer, Stage Manager, Properties, Costumes, Set Design, and Hair and Makeup. She has been involved in over 38 different plays from musicals to drama's.  With her husband David, they own Nessfitness.com, a fitness equipment service provider in the Hampton Roads area for 17 years.  She truly enjoys her family time with her children Britton,  Zachary, Victoria, and special Granddaughter Miss Scarlett.

Sharon Suttle

Sharon lives in Suffolk with husband Pat and son Patrick.  She works as a 3rd Grade Teaching Assistant at Nansemond-Suffolk Academy.  Since 2003, Sharon has been involved in over 40 productions at Smithfield Little Theatre and has worked as backstage crew, acted on stage, and served on the SLT Board. Since 2010, she has also been involved in various lower school and high school theatre productions at NSA and is eager to help teach TARA'S kids all aspect of theater and stage management!

Kathy Strozak

Kathy started in theatre back in 2007 when she became involved in the Smithfield Little Theatre and performed in her first show, Smoke on the Mountain. She has been hooked ever since! Since then, Kathy has been involved by working in many positions there: Backstage crew, Stage Manager, Music Director, Assistant Director, Producer, and Director. She has also served on the Board of Directors for SLT. She has Co-Directed two shows, GREASE and Miracle on 34th Street, and Produced several at the theatre.  In her spare time, Kathy does some acting in student films and a few other professional productions filmed locally. She is one of the founders of All Y’all Players, a local Mystery Dinner Theatre group that performs in the area with all proceeds going to a local charity. Kathy is the Producer/Financial staff person with our company and has 15 years of Accounting experience. Kathy is happily married to her fellow thespian and musician, Bob. She enjoys theatre, wine fests, music, reading, horseback riding, and time with friends & family.
